Bio - Helen Gorlitsky, MD, FACOG
I graduated from Cherry Hill East High School in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I then went on to Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Biology and Society and was elected to the National Honor Society. Immediately following my undergraduate studies, I attended Temple University School of Medicine, where I earned my MD degree in May, 1999 and was elected to AOA, the National Medical Honor Society.
I completed my Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia while serving as Chief Resident in my final year. Raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, I now live in Marlton (may soon again be Cherry Hill) with my husband Adam (a Family Doctor practicing in Philadelphia), and my two children, Jacob and Zachary.
Before completing medical school, I realized that OB/GYN was the specialty that would allow me a satisfying role as a health care provider. I am compelled by the enormous responsibility of providing women with delicate and personalized care during all phases of her life. I look forward to making a difference!
